Introduction

Batho-Pele Social Development- Youth Organization is registered as a Non-Profit Organization. The organization came into existence as an idea of Mr. L. Mafuya, the youth of Greenfields together with Gauteng Department of Social Development to form an Organization that will alleviate poverty through social programs, skills development and by initiating projects or programmes that will generate income to sustain themselves, at the same time addressing identified socio-economic needs in the area of Greenfields and surrounding communities which are impoverished townships of Ekurhuleni municipality.

Our organisational structure illustrates the leadership, management, and operational framework of Batho-pele. It shows how responsibilities are distributed from the Board of Directors, who provide governance and strategic direction, through executive management and coordination roles, down to project teams and support staff who deliver services on the ground. This structure promotes accountability, clear communication, effective decision-making, and teamwork across all levels of the organisation, ensuring that our mission and community objectives are carried out efficiently.
